How Can I Help?
My clients are typically high-achieving and familiar with the concept of mastery. They know what it takes to be great at something. And yet, life isn't going exactly how they planned. Together, we'll explore what has helped you find success and apply it to the areas where you’re seeking growth. Clients describe me as warm, humorous, and having a calming presence. I understand that change can be daunting. Let’s talk about it.
What is My Approach?
My therapeutic practice is informed by an understanding of human development, problem-solving, and navigating change. I support clients in making an honest assessment about what's serving them and what's holding them back. We'll explore how old coping strategies may have outlived their usefulness. Using your values as our compass, we’ll identify meaningful goals and practice the behaviors that support them. My approach prioritizes a supportive therapeutic relationship, honest communication, and a focus on what’s already working.
What Is My Background?
After graduating from Georgetown University, I started my career as a Teach for America Corps member, teaching kindergarten and earning a masters in education. In 2012, a Fulbright Scholarship took me to Indonesia, where I taught high school and explored the jungles of Sulawesi. I later moved to New York City where I spent a decade consulting with venture-backed startups at the intersection of food and technology. I currently live in O'ahu with my wife and our dog, Gracie. Outside of work, I enjoy surfing and growing flowers in my garden.
